it’s about teaching
The “BYOD Listening Project” is a collaborative effort to pin down and solve the increasing challenges that teachers and students face when attempting to integrate devices into daily classroom teaching.
With good intentions, the marketplace has been focused on software and hardware: solutions for security, network and device management, monitoring and connectivity. But the weakest link in BYOD is also the most vital: the moment of teaching and learning. How do we translate that crucial moment to define universal teaching needs?, And who is really listening?
Educators: lets kick up an open discussion on device-integrated classroom learning. We’ll go through the questions, one by one, and take a global pulse on what’s working, and what’s not.
- 1. Can we pin down BYOD in terms of teaching?
- 2. What are the issues and obstacles?
- 3. What are the ideas and models that need spreading?
- 4. And where do we go from here?
Piece by piece, we’ll form a global pulse on BYOD, and we’ll share and integrate the best ideas and solutions that educators vote up.
Marketplace: Let’s take it far beyond bundling solutions. Let’s bring educators into the heart of making our products, systems and tools work together. At key times, the BYOD Listening Project will reach out to companies. But while the discussion is underway, lets avoid any in-discussion marketing. 😉
